Walt Disney World has unveiled a new plan for Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland. The first we’ve heard of these plans was back in 2009, when the Magical company announced intentions of adjusting its fantasy attraction lineup to appeal to a market beyond princesses.

Disney theme parks in Florida and California has introduced a series of Star Wars Vinylmations — collectible designer toys created by Disney Theme Park Merchandise that can only be found at Disney theme parks. The Star Wars Vinylmation series includes (favorite) characters such as Darth Vader, Yoda, C-3PO, R2-D2, Boba Fett and many more.
Animal Kingdom, Wild Africa Trek Now Open
Disney’s Animal Kingdom, The Wild Africa Trek opened Sunday. The attraction takes small groups of theme park guests off the beaten path through the forests to see the wildlife in its (pretty much) natural and undisturbed state — a much different way to enjoy the sights and sounds compared to being driven around in a rumbling vehicle.
Disney To Remodel, Add New Stores To Retail Outlets
Disney announced plans to introduce more of its “immersive” stores throughout 2011. Most of the stores will be remodels of existing Disney retail locations, but a few brand new locations are in the cards such as Minnesota’s Mall of America, Puerto Rico, Dublin, Ireland, and Copenhagen, Denmark.
Makaio: SeaWorld’s Baby Killer Whale Gets A Name
SeaWorld’s newest baby killer whale now has name. Makaio, meaning “gift of God” in Hawaiian, was born in October 2010 and is the first successful birth for the theme park since 2007.

Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor are looking to hire about 800 people for the 2011 season. The parks’ annual winter job fair will be held on Saturday, January 15 through Monday January 17, and Saturday January 22 through Sunday, January 23.
