About Us

Destination: Theme Park brings you the most awesome, entertaining, and useful theme park information from around the world, all while keeping it personal. We are not the Travel Channel – we don’t script and don’t have multi-million dollar budgets. We’re just a couple of theme park mongrels that love to have a great time and have fun.

The Destination: Theme Park Team

Lizette Gagné — creative mind extraordinaire

A native Floridian, Lizette is the rib-tickling host of Tweecap — the Twitter Recap show — and has been a theme park lover for as long as she can remember (actually, since she was inside her mommy’s womb). Perhaps what shows off Lizette’s theme park mongrel spirit the most is the fact that she has made it a family tradition to visit a theme park every Christmas.

Lizette is also a graphic and web designer as well as a full-time student majoring in cinematography.

Alex Luft — entrepreneur, fitness guru, geek

Born in St. Petersburg, Russia and having lived there half of his life, Alex has been exposed to many cultures, nationalities, and mind sets –  which explains the reason he’s bilingual in English & Russian, and fluent in Spanish. Alex’s first-ever theme park encounter took place during his first-ever trip to the United States at Walt Disney World. He’s been hooked to theme parks since.

Alex is the founder of GM Authority, the Ultimate Independent Destination For Everything General Motors and holds dual B.A. degrees in marketing and management from Florida Atlantic University. Other adjectives that describe Alex include die-hard hockey player, fitness guru, self-proclaimed geek, and car fanatic.
